Life
on Lake Cumberland began for me in 1981.
My wife and I purchased our first lakefront lot near Somerset
that year. From that point
on we were hooked. For the
next 25 years we privately bought and sold lake properties and homes,
never giving up life on the lake.
After
retiring from a career in industrial distribution in 2007, and
considering what I would like to do as a second career, I realized
that the enjoyment I received in researching, buying, and improving
properties for my private use would be just as rewarding if I could
use those talents and experiences to find property for others.
Becoming a real estate agent was the perfect fit.
My
knowledge of the Lake Cumberland area will be an asset to you in your
quest to find your property. It’s
easy to get excited when you see an enticing picture of a home or a
spectacular lake view lot, but without knowledge of the area it may
not be the right property for you.
I can help you decide if it really satisfies your needs. Is
the road system good in that area? Is
it in a suitable school district? Is
it close enough to medical facilities? Is
it in an area with strong property values?
The answers to these type questions will determine whether your
purchase is a blessing or a disaster.
Through
a cooperative effort from all of the real estate agencies that are
members of the Somerset/Lake Cumberland Board of Realtors, any
properties you find listed in the local MLS (Multiple Listing Service)
system are available to me. So,
if you see a property you like, contact me at phillip@lakecumberlandkyrealty.com.
Or fill out our EZ
Search form to give me the parameters of what you are looking for, and I will
send you a list of the properties that best
match your needs. To start
your search, click on MLS Search
Remember, Life is Good on Lake Cumberland, if you choose the
right property.
